I don’t want to do whatever thing illegal, but I want to make some cash back on the CD. Can you legally give away the mp3’s on a CD? Can I just charge like $20 for shipping and the CD be free? Any help would be splendid. Again, I don’t want to do it if I could get in distress, that’s why I am asking before hand. Thanks!

I bought a study CD for the MCAT and paid a lot for it. I want to sell the material but it is illegal right?

You can sell the CD to someone second-hand, but you can’t copy the CD or material on it and profit from it – it’s hostile to copyright laws. Even distributing it for ‘free’ is illegal.
