The majority of medical school matriculants still have life science majors, so if you delight in chemistry, go for it. Medical schools are very comfortable with applicants who have life science majors, but they are also wanting to encourage students to consider medicine even though they aren’t science oriented.
SUNY will be your best shot at getting accepted into a medical school. By statute, state universities have to give preference to state residents. It will also be your lowest cost tuition.
